This Barberesco is aged for 2 years in oak barrels and for a further year in the bottle before release to give it time to soften and mature. It is an intense red garnet colour with hints of orange and pepper mixed in with the dark cherry fruit. Goes well with roasted meats.

Soft and dry on the palate with typical baked cherry flavours mixed with hints of cocoa and cinnamon.

Always very serious. Lots of raisin, tobacco and toasted oak on the nose. Full-bodied with chewy tannins and a long, long finish. This is loaded with fruit. Corvina grapes. Monovitigno.
